Hi, I'm Abhi.
I am a student at Columbia University pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Operations Research.
This Summer 2026, I am working as a Software Engineering Intern at Humana, building a full-stack clinical AI platform to support chart prep, care-gap detection, and vitals trending.
I am also a Machine Learning Engineering Intern for an AI startup called LoomLogic, where I build real-time VLM inference systems for garment detection, brand classification, and high-value item scoring to reduce textile waste in the clothing industry.
At Columbia, I conduct agentic AI research with the Capponi Lab and IBM Research on automated smart contract generation and evaluation. I have also worked with the Knowles Lab on deep learning architectures for alternative splicing prediction as a Computational Genomics and Machine Learning researcher.
Previously, I worked as an Analytics Engineer Intern at General Electric Aerospace, where I built changepoint detection and anomaly detection models for multivariate engine test data.
I'm passionate about leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to create models and applications that can solve real-world problems and provide valuable insights.
